Whats really horrible is that the poor guy desperately tried spraying his roof with a garden hose probably knowing that it was fruitless given the sheer magnitude of the fire.

frick, that things spreads so damn quickly, wtf do you do? One minute, there's a relatively small fire you can see in the distance some miles away from you. 40 minutes later, your neighborhood is now on fire and i's only getting worse.

Based on where he lives, very good chance he is a democrat. However, even if he's a Republican and votes straight R every time, he would be a fool to not have a few masks around while living in California.

What an interesting thread. Not for the topic of the OP, I already knew that bit, just an interesting thread in general. Kind of a mirror of sorts being turned around.
