Ill run a set of Number 2s over it and let the ole lady line it up in the back if it gets to long.

Been doing it for two years... Well, my wife has. Bought a set of shears from Walmart and go with the biggest guard so it trims it about 3/4”.

Been doing mine for about 20 years.

#3 on sides and back #6 on the top

Get a hand held mirror and stand in front of the bathroom mirror and you can easily line up the back.

Pretty sure that if I tried to cut my own ... Let's just say: Is there a men's version of the "Speak to the Manager" doo?

I’ve been cutting my hair for over a year now. And I still have all my hair - not going bald and not just cutting it with clippers...an actual haircut. Clippers on the sides and medium/long on top. I got overconfident and talked my son into letting me cut his. Major mistake. Thought for sure cutting someone else’s would be easier than cutting my own. But I can cut mine pretty damn good, and it’s exactly how I like it. I started cutting it myself because no matter where I went to have it cut, they wouldn’t fricking listen to what I was telling them about how I wanted it.

I've been cutting my own hair since I moved 30 minutes from town. A 4, 3, 2, fade is easy. I use a hat bill to trim/shave the back of the neck. No pics, but I like to think I look gooood...

Advice on optimal head shave trimmer setting welcome.

I go a 2 on the sides and back. with a slight taper to a mid 3 the higher up you go...

and Ill leave the top at an 8 so it's a little long or if I wanna go super short I'l go with a 4 up top...

Same here. I can definitely do it the way I like it. The first time I cut it I got complements from a number of people, but then a guy I know that cuts hair saw me and said I should have done blah blah blah. They were all the things I don't like that they do.

I think the more important question is SHOULD you cut your own hair? That answer is, of course, no.

As John Winger said upon seeing Sgt. Hulka in Italy, "It is alive!".

I have no idea what you are referencing - so I will say, "no".
