I have been for years. Although it's not as good as a pro. Hard to fade the back.

I just bought clippers and shaved my head...

But now I have longer hair so I can't cut it on my own anymore.

Cutting your hair is a massive sin in the bible

I don't normally shave it, but its a look I've been considering for awhile. If this keeps up I'm just going to set it on 2 or 3 and get to work.

Advice on optimal head shave trimmer setting welcome.

I could and I do. Every week.

#1length. Cost me $0 and takes me 10 minutes.

The Good Lord has seen fit to remove the hair from the crown of my head, so I've taken it upon myself to remove the rest.

I use the Skull Shaver.

Same.

It is starting to get long enough now that it is more controllable, if that makes sense.

I started cutting my own last year. I've gotten more complements from my own haircuts than from a professional.

I've been going bald for a while anyway, so a couple days ago I just buzzed the whole thing with a #1 guard.

I've been cutting my own hair for years. I shave my head now but I used to leave an inch on top with scissors and used clippers to fade the sides and back. There was really no way to use a mirror and I had to do it by feel. It was a pain in the arse but I got good results and people didn't believe me when I told them I cut it myself.

I started cutting mine because my go-to barber retired and none of the other ones would listen to me. I would even tell them the exact clipper guards to use on the top and sides but they all wanted to do their own thing.
