I don't buy in to the whole mask virtue signaling crap, but its a private business and they can set whatever rules they want.

This whole shite is way past the point of being stupid. Every bit of this event was over played.

Saying that, it's their store and if that's their rules then you have to abide by them if you want to shop there.

That guy (channelling John Gruden voice here) “challenging Costco’s oppressive policy” is missing the boat if he’s not a Vegetarian Atheistic Libertarian.

He would make a wonderful Trifecta winner.

Sometimes people are stupid. This is one of those cases.

just, don't shop there..

but, the mgr looks/acts like a dweeb who was ridiculed in school and now has a little bit of "power". Shopper guy probably reminded him of someone who shoved his head in a toilet.

so if they're worried about him having rona why would they take his infected products and put them back on the shelves?

According to Joe Exotic, Walmart doesn't put anything back on the shelves.

While i agree...he should have a right to a pro rated amount of his membership fee back...Costco changed the rules ( which they are free to do)

What rules did they change? Wearing a mask?

FYI, Costco AND Sam's will refund 100% of your membership fee at any time.

Count me in that crowd. And any store that requires a mask will not get my business.

I'm glad to see that most of the O-T is starting to understand that "rights" involve the relationship between us and our government, not us and private business.

A few people out there still don't understand.

Whether or not this is a good idea, the marketplace will judge, which is how it is supposed to be.

I don't see it being any different than "no shoes, no shirt, no service". Abide by the rules of the store or shop elsewhere

Came here to post this. Dude is a Karen though and probably did this intentionally thinking they’d end up as the “good party.”

Customer is a douche bag and an idiot. Walking into a private business stating its a free country. Idiots everywhere, and on both sides.

An unusual item??? Its been the most popular item besides toilet paper for the last 2 months.

I don't care if you wear a damn mask, but if a private business says they require it, follow the damn rule or shop somewhere else. Its a very simple concept.

Do you show up wearing tshirts and jogging shorts to play golf? No. Because they are privately ran businesses that require you to wear certain items to be allowed to play.
