Coronavirus Vaccine Could Be Ready in Six Months

Then what? I’ve pondered how much resistance people will put up to getting it, and what type of government coercion there will be to get it.
I generally get a flu shot, but have minor hesitancy to take version 1.0 of a vaccine that was hastily put together.

I hope it's as effective as the flu vaccine. We don't have to worry about the flu anymore, that I can tell you.

Everyone doesn’t need to take it. Just a vast majority.

We didn't get one for MERS or SARS. They've been working on an HIV vaccine for over 30 years.
There are many different coronaviruses, some MUCH more deadly than this one, and we haven't developed a vaccine for one yet.
I guess it's possible. Sure. I just doubt it will happen. This thing will likely peter out after a while and it will probably be very difficult to find willing test subjects.

I don't think that I want to either -- I'm over 50 so I think that pneumonia, shingles and something else is recommended. But ugh.

And Karen still won’t give it to her child because vaccines are an evil plot by Bill Gates to depopulate the Earth. Meanwhile the democrats and doomers continue to advocate for a shutdown until 2028 and not one person has the virus.

I have heard numerous people on tv say that neither SARS or MERS became wide spread enough to warrant the cost associated with developing a vaccine. Apparently all of the work was shelved when the viruses disappeared.

Where I work you either 1) take a flu shot or 2) wear a mask from October until April. A new vaccine is NOT appealing to me .. it's a part time consulting job that if I'm forced to do either of these for, I might resign.

Rogan had a guy on a week or so ago, a tropical disease expert who is trying to drum up funding for vaccines and he mentions this....
may be worth a listen if youre inclined.. its like an hour 10 minute podcast... short and to the point
