I admittedly know very little about the medical system, but let’s say a COVID-19 patient had a physician who was very hesitant to prescribe the hydroxychloroquine cocktail to them, do they have the right to request that sort of treatment?
At this point if I get it, then one way or another, I will be taking those drugs.

Yes.
The physician also has the right to deny them.

So can anyone share their thoughts regarding schools and universities for the fall semester?
I refuse to ask OT or Poli board. My youngest kid is 19 and she doesn’t belong here with us — love her to pieces but she belongs in school, in this big world, thriving and figuring out life.
She’s had two weeks of spring break and just finished her first week of online classes. Poor girl is ready to not be hanging with us.

Tell her get her own place.
Im sure this is a great time for you to do that.

If we’re still in this same situation come August, fall semester will be the least of anyone’s worries

Her school is out of state. Can’t even go back to get her things from the dorm yet.

OK my wife developed a fever last night around dinner, which she never does. Sore throat, and a bad ear ache.
My next door neighbor came down with the exact same symptoms and his job sent him home. He was tested and after a 4 day wait, he came back negative. It is best to be on the safe side and get checked. But there are a lot of yearly sicknesses out there.

Sounds like your wife and neighbor are in "close contact"

The most disturbing thing about that is how federal laws hit a guy with 27 years in prison for selling crack to adults.

Right? That caught me as fricked up to, if only someone had explained to him that was against the law or something

Why in the frick wouldn’t doctors at least be using it as it seems to be successful in some?
It is being widely used at two NOLA area hospitals that I know of.
There is fear of repercussions after this for 'were you treated with chloroquine' lawyers. However, due to lack of other good info from the CDC the doctors are watching what is coming out of Europe for treatments.

By the fall, we'll have this thing basically knocked out. Schools will require every student to be tested upon arrival at campus, and there will be an on-campus testing location, and any student who gets a fever will go there and immediately get tested. School campuses will be safe.

If schools aren’t back to normal in 4 months, you’ll have much greater concerns...

When reading about the Spanish Flu last night, didn't paint a rosey picture of us ending this anytime soon.
