But it’s not like there are studies, so everything you’ll hear will be antedoctal and majority of it false.

Also, the intent of the question was presumably to assess risk to a loved one.....which is more dependent on the person than the virus.

So no, it’s impractical to expect a serious/useful response.

It’s worth mentioning that pregnancies typically are mildly immunosuppressed, so she’d be more vulnerable to CORVID-19.

If you want more specific than that, again, I’d recommend you read up on maternal pneumonia.

During the day when the sun is out and I’m distracted with work and taking care of my son I feel great. I feel better than when I drove in to the office everyday and had to keep my kid in daycare.

But at night when the wife and kid are in bed, and I’m just reading up on the latest developments, I start feeling a little scared of what’s to come. I just pray that no one in my family needs serious medical attention anytime soon and that we don’t see an uptick in crime due to all the job losses, school closures, etc...

I was just thinking this man. Everyday is a story of anxiety drifting off until about 7pm when I get on tigerdroppings, and I go to sleep thinking the world will end.

My biggest anxiety is having it and transmitting it to others, as I'm relatively young and healthy.

I'm the opposite. My pregnant wife is at the hospital all day. Worries the hell out of me.

Don’t know of any data but there are physical changes with pregnancy especially late in pregnancy that I suspect would increase the risk to a pregnant patient. Decreased total lung capacity and significantly increase blood volumes. Pregnancy is more or less a diseased state.

I stopped in to see my parents this weekend — we live a ways from them and I was in the area and it had been a little bit.

I didn’t want to give my dad or mom a hug and they both were like I’m going to die of something at some point anyway so don’t worry.

I've been watching that for good news (they're pretty on the ball with that) and they seem to do a good job helping people who get anxious. They have someone who does a long post with a bunch of news (with links) seemingly every night too.

It’s not wrong. The fact of the matter is that we are putting millions out of work and in debt to prevent the possibility of overwhelming ICU’s for patients that likely at some point over the next year end up their anyway. And to make matters worse you have jackasses running Louisiana that are shutting down Dential offices and other Businesses for 30 days. Not even a “we will re-asses”

The overwhelming majority will not be medically affected other than having moderate cold symptoms for a few days. Is it something to be taken seriously? Yes. Is it worth shutting the country down over? Absolutely not.
