The new twitter fire is that ibuprofen makes the symptoms of the coronavirus far worse than normal. Apparently, the source of the rumor comes from cryptic remarks by a WHO spokesperson and some warnings from French health officials.

LINK

From what I can tell, there's little basis for the ibuprofen rumor, though. Hopefully, it will get cleared up tomorrow.

My “baby” is 19 — only girl after two boys — empty nest sucks just FYI. That’s the song they played at her pre-k graduation. Love it.

This place can be a shite hole in general but I appreciate the positivity you guys can bring.

Think about it this way. If reading the Imperial article correctly, things will and should normalize somewhat by summer and earlier in places closer to the equator at lower latitude.

The country/world simply cannot survive living this way for 18 months. There is just no way.

We will be forced to have adjusted lifestyles, maybe limited air travel and a whole lot of spotty quarantines when the thing breaks out again in the fall if there is no vaccine.

I feel like that is the way it will have to be to keep any semblance of the global economy and life as we know it alive.

There will have to be massive qaurantine protocols developed for when breakouts do occur to limit spread etc and short term hospital infrastructure will likely have to be improved.

Better here than elsewhere. Sometimes you just gotta get it out. And then it’s done.

And lucky for me I’ve never been successful at posting pics here. Not that I would ever post her pic anyway.

They need to have this trial vaccine to work or to the very least have a vaccine ready to go by the fall. Failure to do so means panic will set in as the assumed colder weather could cause a spike in cases.

American society will collapse long before 18 months is up. Time is the essence.
