That's the important factor. Just a couple of few months ago, our hospital ran out of vents. We had to borrow some from a sister hospital. I doubt hospitals are willing to lend them out right now.

How are they going to monitor that? Serious question. Will they stop people in the store or at a redlight? Not being ugly.

At the end of the day all you need is an ambu bag and someone willing to squeeze it.

So I’m sorry if things is dumb but —

When tests are available and not an issue, are they going to “want” people to test to see where they stand for statistical purposes? A walk in clinic here In a small town said they’ll be able to rest for it next week.

This just made me wonder.

I think Austin is implementing a drive thru testing option but you have to apply online and they determine if you need a test or not

They’re only going to have 1mm available next week

So it may be a while before they test people that aren’t showing symptoms

if you're paralyzed on a vent, you're sedated to the point you're basically in a coma

if you're not paralyzed but on a vent, you probably have a fentanyl drip going for pain and then a sedative on top of that for light sedation

One said the U.S. data was from 2012 though.

There have been a good bit of hospitals closing in the past year or so.

So much for my bike ride. Spent half of it standing on the side of the road talking to someone from the hospital. So glad I give up call tomorrow. I'm dreaming about COVID-19 now (seriously)

NO. The ERs and clinics and urgent cares are already gonna be FLOODED with people that actually are sick.
