Well it's official here. Wife went to the local Walmart and she said it was a zoo with nothing to sell.

South Korea with 250,000 tests of people with symptoms and 96% of the tests were negative.

Hilarious the reaction to this when those hundreds of thousands of people are still sick and can get others sick but they don’t have the big bad coronavirus so it’s all good. We should shut down the world every winter.

Either you aren't getting it or you're just being an arse to be an arse.

The little IGA downtown was a mess the last couple of days. I gotta go to a bigger store today and am dreading it.

Walmart closed here a few years ago, so shopping areas are limited.

Well it's not summer yet bud. We have at least two months before things start getting back to normal. In the meantime it will be hectic all over the country. Ya know I never thought you were really that smart to begin with but you have proven me right 10 fold.

Dude. This is not a good thing.

It means there isn’t some vast amount of asymptomatic cases out there. It’s what we have been saying.

It’s hilarious you continue to try to “battle” in this thread when you’ve already lost.

Here’s something I want to know.

Why does joe blow believe supply lines for essentials will dry up?

Supply lines for staple goods hasn’t stopped ANYWHERE

Not china, not Italy, not Iran

Even in Wuhan, the toilet paper factories never stopped

Now imagine a real crisis arising, like the grids crashing. Humanity will be screwed.

Panic buying and supply chain interruptions.

The asymptomatic cases wouldn’t normally get tested though. If you catch corona through community spread and are asymptomatic you are never going to get tested. The only way asymptomatic people get tested is in unique situations like the cruise ship or japan evacuees.

All those numbers show is there’s a whole bunch of people with flu and cold like symptoms not caused by corona

It’s one thing people can control during an emergency situation

It’s happened for decades

I was actually thinking that it would be cool if the world adopted a "work from home in the winter policy". Kinda a worldwide season change where we have increases in WFH, sanitary practices, etc. I think something like this could prove it could be done for maybe a month or two. Obviously not to this extreme, but an encouraged seasonal thing that encompasses some of the effort being done now. January and February are such shitty months to have to get up in the morning and come back home in the evening in the cold and dark.
