I think the cancellations are changing that. Separate and apart from helping literally stop the spread of the disease, pretty much has now add something they enjoy and look forward to cancelled.

Trips/sports/concerts/parties/festivals/parades etc. I think the direct “attack” on our entertainment and conveniences is waking people up. There will be energy to slow this thing down if only to get our leisure activities back

In the not doom and gloom side of things, they just got all the tests back from Jazz personnel. Out of 58 people who had contact with gobert, only Donovan Mitchell tested positive. And both he and gobert were so mild symptomaticslly that they we’re going to play last night

Sigh. The virus has an incubation period. It's highly possible, even likely, that they infected others who will test positive later.

Studies from Europe discovered that RNA shedding in the throat in the five days prior to symptoms were 10 times higher than common influenza strains.

I think you may be referring to the study I posted. It was actually SARS not influenza. Just wanted to clarify before someone calls you out.

The incubation period is for symptoms no? The test should be able to tell if the virus is in your body at all.

I dont know why you think that this is reassuring. It clearly acted atypically enough once it became prevalent to be noticed.

Because it means many people have likely already had it and recovered without realizing it was something other than the flu.

As fat and out of shape as he is, he still has hour long rallies and shite. Despite what people think of him, his energy levels for his age and weight are crazy good.

And last night he was having trouble catching his breath between sentences.

In 2009 colleges basically just said if you get sick take off as much time as you need as H1N1 ripped through campuses. It was really bad in the fall of 2009. There's definitely a concerted effort to make this worse than it is right now. It could get bad.. but people are trying to self fulfill a prophecy and make it bad now.

Are you sure the test would not show positive even with no symptoms?

Trump always talks slow, breathy, and seems tired when he gives those kind of speeches. It must be him trying to act "Presidential" as people put it.

How are people trying to make it worse? Are they trying to get infected then trying to infect other people?

I'm confused by this. Do you mean people are trying to make it seem worse? If so, how would that self-fulfill the prophecy? Wouldn't that make people more cautious, thus do the opposite?

Again, how did this "make it worse"?
