How long till we get a video of people intentionally spreading the virus on camera? That is YouTube-worthy.
We’ll have corona infected trash licking Blue Bell ice cream by the time this is all said and done.

here is a political/conditional question
Does the president have the power to shut down events/schools in individual states or is that solely something the governor can do?

In other words, who can we blame politically for taking action?

Can you imagine all schools shutting down a few months early? Holy hell the shite show that would follow.

I watched one of my school aged kids sneeze directly into my other school aged kids eyeballs yesterday from point blank range.

Can someone explain to my why trips had to be booked between 3/5 and 3/31 to be changed for free? Shouldn't trips booked prior to 3/5 also be allowed to be changed? If anything, everyone knew better after 3/5 and they deserve to be stuck with the ticket.
I've wondered the same thing. All of my flights for Spain were purchased with miles so I'll have to claw back the miles if (and it looks like I will) cancel. I'm presuming that if things haven't improved the airlines will take an even more lenient approach in April.
I do think if you called they would issue a voucher good for up to a year if you want to cancel but right now they want to make you ask for it.

I know of three companies that are huge employers that have had tests of their VPN to see if it can sustain everyone working from home in the coming weeks. 2 passed one failed
I don't know what that means, but thought it was interesting. One is a super large govt contractor.

Gave airlines a way to look like they were doing something good but also get money.

Good to know. I'm not even trying to cancel. Just trying to come home early since there's no longer a conference to stay for.
I left my number for them to call me back. Wait time is "more than two hours"

That didn't take long. They just got testing up and running Saturday. It looks like all 3 cases are in the Cleveland area.

This thing is everywhere. Once we start actually testing people the mortality rate will go way down.
