It would ordinarily be just a case of morbid curiosity for me, but I have two elder relatives with significant medical issues, both of whom will most likely be interacting with the health care system on a regular basis in the near future. The thought of their being around a bunch of disease vectors doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Saw a reporter who said she was in Italy covering coronavirus (actually in the area most impacted), and she said that when the returned to the U.S. and landed at JFK, she went all the way through customs without being asked where in Italy she had been.
