I have Graves Disease (fancy, morbid name for hyperthyroidism); however, it’s in remission and has been for 16 years, thus I’m officially in hypothyroidism and take levothyroxin daily. Minor condition, and I assume not particularly extra risky when considered with COVID19, but I don’t really know.

By Friday or total deaths? Also two more cases confirmed in King County both of which are critical.

Pope has cancelled third day of events with “illness.”
He’s got COVID. Almost no way he doesn’t.

Come Friday 11:59 PM, how many coronavirus deaths in total, from the beginning, will be reported?

I'd go with A.

Wouldn't doubt it. He is 83, in a country that has a sizable outbreak, and has been interacting with crowds of people.

Doesn't he have half of a lung? Thought I had read he got it from a sickness when he was a child.

I’m no expert, but I would be highly surprised if it didn’t.

Yep. He’s a prime candidate. Very real possibility that it kills him if so.

“Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS!” US Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams complained Saturday on Twitter.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but hospitals don’t go down to their local Walmart to but their ppg equipment.

NEW: Washington state reports 2 new cases of coronavirus in King County; both are in critical condition with underlying health issues
Testing is ramping up and these cases are in different hospitals, wouldn't be surprised to see a surge in cases soon.

They come from the same supply. Companies aren't gonna turn down orders from walmart cause hospitals need more, especially if walmart is paying more/making them more money as a whole.

In situations like this, every supply chain is pursued.

This misinformation is ridiculous. Basically he says they aren’t effective for the average Joe, but our docs need them because they apparently work for medical professionals.
Surgical masks are not effective. N95 masks ARE provided they have a proper fit (which is the main issue with people just buying them up and hoping to strap them on and they work). They aren’t that difficult to fit. They’re just uncomfortable as hell.

Yea these are the worst of the worst cases. This is what happens when you aren’t testing, the percentage of deaths and critical cases seem high. See Iran. There is a significant spread of cases out there already in the US that have probably sought care and were diagnosed with flu or common colds.

One of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Washington is a US Postal Service worker. Health officials are working quickly to identify close contacts of the six confirmed patients

Exactly. I’d love to hear the logic that they are effective for medical professionals, but not average Joe.
