90k cases?

And we wonder why “media sensationalism” is a thing. It’s because it sells and we spread it because we’ll believe anything when we want to.

I just want to say in hard times like these I am so thankful to be in the United States. Not saying we don’t have anything that’s corrupt but damn man China sounds terrible. Honestly why would anyone want to live there. Sounds like a frick show over there. USA USA USA.

Yeah, that number seems ridiculous.

It does, but the country in question is doing dramatic things and the information from within is limited - by the Chinese govt.
People have very little trust in our government, now think how much they have in China...

I think it's always worth remembering that the flu killed 61,000 Americans last year. A novel virus is going to grab headlines, but for the vast majority of Americans, this isn't even notable.
I understand we have posters here in China, so it's clearly a big deal to them, and I'm not trying to diminish that.

I am basing the concern of what the government and military is doing in China which are proven facts. The response level they are having is for something way more serious than they are letting on.

Flu kills like 1 in 10,000. This thing may be killing 1 in 20. It’s a big deal.

There is an unconfirmed video of a Chinese dr or hospital worker at ground zero claiming 90k infected.

I refuse to take this seriously until more shite starts happening in the United States. If it’s as serious as people are saying then people in the United States should be infected, right? You know how many people have been traveling before this wide spread panic? If numbers don’t start to rise in about a week in the United States then I see this whole thing being blown over just like most things that start trending on social media.

Certainly depends on the person and medium based upon preconceived bias.
Sorry I dont trust China and dont like the lack of information and content I am seeing. Far from freaking out, but I believe numbers are less than accurate from the stuff I've seen shown.

Let’s just hope the CDC hires the right non-binary people to look into this
