My daughter, who is 18, runs 2-5 miles a day, could easily be a model, is a careful vegan eater and had no medical conditions almost died in her mother’s arms from Covid 19 complications this morning. It’s her second time with it.
Nurse said seeing kids with complications like this now every day, and very common.
frick ALL YOU Bastards.

Jesus Christ stop it people are going to beleive you
I mean you hit the trifecta
1. Mentioned 18 year old almost dying
2. Mentioned this is her second time getting it. Which would make her maybe the only person in the world that has had it twice
3. Said almost dying is actually common for young people.
Impressive

Since the thread from yesterday is anchored. That doctor discussing myocarditis in B1G players:
He was "quoting" something a colleague told him, that was apparently initial data that got adjusted downward.
And no Penn State players have the heart issue.
DOOOOOOMMMMM!!!! You must be afraid.

Also several Big 10 schools have said they haven't seen any cases of myocarditis. Honestly, this is malpractice on the part of this doctor to be running around basically talking out of his arse about something he apparently knows nothing about.
This is honestly how we are in this mess now; too man so called "experts" chiming in with unfounded statements which the media then runs with.

Literature review looking at papers on the PCR tests.
People likely no longer infectious 8 days after symptom onset.
Seems like Cycle threshold (Ct) on the PCR tests can be used as a proxy for viral load; higher Ct the less virus/less chance to be shedding live virus.
From Abstract:
This Ct thing is going to be important going forward as we continue to be locked down in a CASEdemic based on PCR tests coming back false positive.

Infectivity is related to the date of onset of symptoms and cycle threshold level. A binary Yes/No approach to the interpretation RT-PCR unvalidated against viral culture will result in false positives with segregation of large numbers of people who are no longer infectious and hence not a threat to public health.

Don’t forget the part about “could be a model”

There are two issues I see going forward, and we have discussed them here before.
1. No one is really looking at the false positivity rate. That will make it seem like there is still a steady stream of new infections.
2. The state is not tracking new admissions for coronavirus. So if we just track hospitalizations there may be many patients sitting on a ventilator for a month or more and it could make it look like the hospitalization drop is slowing down.
We need to sort those two issues out if we want to know the true extent of the pandemic currently.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through if indeed you arent lying. Should probably get her tested for lots of other co-morbidities being that only 11,000 have died of covid alone and practically no one under 55 of covid alone. Thats per the cdc.

You gave away the ruse when you said “in her mother’s arms”. Unfortunately, as we know, this is not where people with Covid complications are spending thier time, dying or otherwise.

Wait what? I don’t understand #2 — they’re not tracking admissions? Why wouldn’t they? Who’s running this thing?????

What's up with Alabama's numbers?
Becker's Hospital Review - 90.1% positivity rate
Johns Hopkins - 147.9% positivity rate

Exactly. He/she just makes shite up as they go. Look at the post history in context to the threads in which they post. It’s like a grammar schooler telling stories at recess. Pathetic to think an adult or even adolescent would act this way.
