I believe it is 4/11 for the overall peak in patients and hospital capacity at any given time, so tomorrow.
But deaths will linger and continue for a long time. So you can't really have a peak deaths day until the very last death.
The peak deaths per day has likely passed though. NYC had some crazy high days.

Also should be noted that Louisiana went up slightly in most metrics. But this will happen with more and more data, it just get's refined slightly every time.

Unfortunately for trump he decided to delegate these decisions to the states.
So regardless of what he recommends the governors will do what they want.
I’m sure lickspittles like desantis will fall in line but I wouldn’t expect most governors to just reflexively bend to his wishes. His re-election isn’t as important to everyone. Even republican governors

I noticed OK jumped up in tests this week. They had a bunch of private labs only reporting positive results. They also offer this daily breakdown that has a lot of info.

When Trump says to begin opening it up, the people will be clawing at the doors to get in. Any state that doesn’t follow suit will likely see some turnover in the higher ups. People are sick of this bullshite.
Outside of a few place, the rest of the country could be opened up at this point with some guidelines... The same that Caterpillar stated earlier.

But If the public health officials on a state level caution against it, most governors will probably take that recommendation over Trump’s.
And frankly this shouldn’t really be controversial. We need to try to do this quickly but also correctly.
A hasty release from social distancing followed by uptick in cases and death will make this whole endeavor we are currently locked in pretty pointless.

Which is what’s fricking wrong with a lot of what is going on...
Heath officials aren’t looking at things holistically. They are looking at a single topic and going off of that. This is a much bigger issue than health. The financial and subsequent health impacts of delaying more and more will outweigh the potential of a few more people getting it.

Because they don’t give a flying frick about the impact of our economy imploding and the ramifications of that.
Did you see the pics out of San Antonio’s food bank? Nearly 1000 cars lined up before they even opened... What about the lines around the block at Florida’s unemployment offices?
You’re about to have 20+ million able bodied Americans out of work. That leads to drinking, smoking, deteriorating health, and suicides... Like the 5k additional suicides from the 2008 financial collapse which maxed out at 10% unemployment. They are estimating 15-20% if this goes on into May.
