you know the only real differences between PJ and Coolidge?

Coolidge was extremely intelligent and had real terminal illness.

I found your thread requesting a tribute for Coolidge and other deceased posters

The third post in that thread is chilling

When I die I'm going to have it mandated in my will that someone, not wife so y'all dickheads won't ask for pics, to post a thread so you can all say goodbye to me.

I expect it to reach about 1.5 pages.

He was a genius when it came to weather. He could nail where a hurricane was going better than anyone else.

He used to post his forecasts on here whenever something in the tropics began to stir.

Cobe was my best friend at LSU. We had a daily ritual of having dinner in one of the LSU cafeterias, and then going to watch the sunset from the top of a building on the LSU campus. The roof of the Physics Building was our favorite hangout. I figured keeping his memory alive at TigerDroppings would be a tribute he would have appreciated. Sadly, it never happened.

So he moved to Natchez in anticipation of Katrina?

No, Cobe actually sold his home in N.O. less than a week before Katrina struck. He was in Houston when Katrina struck. The paperwork for the sale was lost before it was recorded with the Clerk of Court, and he was offered all sorts of assistance as the homeowner of record. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but he did not.
