I have no clue. I actually didn't post much from 2010 until late last year so I couldn't tell you.

one of my favorite lol o-t moments was when she got into an e-fight with jenx one night over the use of the word "heart"....the e-fight ended fairly quickly and not a single expletive was used during the fight.

i guess she quit. she posted one night a few years back that she was dying. ttp and myself were in that thread and both questioned her about it and received no replies...later on she kind of blew off what she said. posters can be very strange. i should know.

I've heard his name mentioned a lot but never put too much into it. I began posting in June '07 so I guess I never got to interact with him a lot. I find it odd that he only has one post unlocked in his post history. I'm guessing that was his last post?

I introduced Cobe to TigerDroppings when he was having a dispute with the owners/operators of another LSU message board. I'm glad I did because he got great pleasure from the interactions on the O-T and Poli board over the last few years of his life as his illness progressed.

Cobe had plenty of demons in real life that he hid from the persona that was Coolidge on this website. Coolidge was a manifestation of most of the best features of Cobe. Rex and Coolidge had fun with each other on the internet as Coolidge's barbs were intended mostly for entertainment purposes. Their internet relationship was not at all like their relationship IRL.

Cobe was living in Natchez after he lost his New Orleans home to Katrina. Rex would visit him occasionally, and lend what assistance he could. Given that Rex lived in New Orleans, it took some real affection and effort. Cobe would often express his gratitude for Rex's friendship in our daily email exchanges. He wrote the same about you and Jenx.

As much as everyone loved Coolidge, they should know he was responsible for bringing Jenx to TigerDroppings. They met on a message board devoted to Bonanza, and became friends IRL despite the geographic separation.

Your suggested alternative?

I've had more gala luncheons, er, seen more doctors in the last twenty months than you've had hot meals. I find the great majority to be earnest, professional, and caring.

If someone gave you this, would you go around touting pork? You are so funny.

Creepy that folks have gone back and upvoted/downvoted in that thread

What illness did he have? How old was he?

ETA: I found his obituary and see that he was only 47. Sad to see someone go that young. Interesting that he also had a petroleum engineering degree
