Is there any reason why this shithead OP hasn’t shared what he purchased that caused such an uproar?

For instance there have been documented reports of women being arrested for placing objects in certain areas of their anatomy while shoplifting. Would this justify the store conducting a strip search of women shoppers?

Nope that’s why they are detained until a female officer arrives or write down the license number and the police will go to their residence.

Whether they have the right to refuse service may involve certain civil right issues which will best be left for another day.

Walmart can ban any person if they cause a scene or if they cause a disruption. Has nothing to do with anyone’s civil rights.

I can’t believe this thread is still going

OP is doing his part. Homeboy posted this thread around noon and has been keeping the banter going for almost 12 hours now. A quick post search shows he took about a 2 hour break from 8-10. Dude is putting in work for such a shitty thread.

My comment was I would refuse service if you returned for not following store policy/rules and that is 100% allowed and supported by the law

Please provide the law that supports this. I told the very respectful police officer there was no basis for either him or the store employee to demand to see the receipt unless I was accused of a crime. The store employee confirmed I was not being accused of a crime.

Waiting .........

Please provide the law

There is no law it’s company policy. Private businesses can refuse service to anyone for any reason as long as they don’t discriminate based on age, sex, race, or religion.

Please identify said scene or disruption:

Spent 45 minutes shopping - no interaction with employees
Checked out at register operated by an employee -

Exiting store - when employee asked for receipt - said no and kept walking

Employee followed and grabbed my arm and said I had to show receipt - i quietly stated you don't have the right

Exited store as employee ran out and reported to the police officer

Discussed the matter respectful with the officer and employee

When neither could identify any crime I potentially committed I quietly walked away

At no time did I draw attention to myself , I did not initiate contact physically or verbally with anyone

Again please identify scene or disruption. Waiting ......

Thank you. There is no law applicable. I was not refused service, in fact they willingly sold and accepted my payment for purchases.

At the end of the day, no laws/constitutions were violated. This whole ordeal was a waste of everyone’s time and money.

You may get banned from shopping there going forward. It sounds like you are ok with that. You don’t need Wal-Mart. And Wal-Mart definitely doesn’t need you.

Dude! If you feel so passionate about showing a receipt call the store and speak to the manager. You could have done that a hundred times today but instead you’ve got an 18 page thread going here that you are 12 plus hours deep into. You’re put off by having to spend 3 seconds showing a receipt but you’ve got all the time in the world to waste here arguing about it? Let it go man.
