Thrill us with your philopophy on why government should make it illegal for us to buy hemp drinks/products.
I don't have a philopophy.

You and some others are so emotional about this bill that all you can do is disparage any poster who asks why the THC restriction is bad.

Put another way, why did congress think restricting THC is a good thing?

They had to have some reason to believe that. So, what was it?

Once again it’s legal presently and thus should’ve been your responsibility to prove why it’s all of a sudden needing to be illegal..

The data is clear.. it has helped curb alcohol consumption and this change was done at the behest of those who have a direct financial conflict i

The motives for the reversal of the farm bill protections are obvious and have nothing to do with the actual usage of these products. They are safer than alternatives, they provide stable incomes and economic growth in needed rural areas and open up markets to entrepreneurs who otherwise wouldn’t be inclined to take the risks.

Now.. why do you feel otherwise?

No, I'm not.

I know what THC is because I was prescribed THC capsules when I was going through chemotherapy years ago. It was supposed to help alleviate the nausea from the chemo treatments.

The prescription didn't help so I stopped taking them and threw the capsules away.

I don't have any responsibility to prove anything. I asked why the change was made. I'm not for it nor am I against it.

I didn't know anything about the restriction until I read this thread.

But I'm starting to think the reason you are so hysterically opposed to the THC restriction is that you're afraid it's going to put a crimp in your ability to get high.

If that's the reason, that's okay with me. Just cut out the bullshite and be honest about it.

It was a loophole that didn't make any sense. I hate loopholes.

Petition your state government to pass a law making it legal for medicinal and/or recreational use. Elect people that support federal decriminalization. I'm all about it.

But loophole technicalities need to be closed.

If that’s what it takes to be able to go into the city without having to smell the strong stench of skunk everywhere, then so be it.

This isn’t banning weed. Weed is already illegal at the federal level.

So you will keep smelling weed.

What this will do is make it harder to grow hemp. The stuff you don’t smoke.

People try and blame alcohol. Hemp isn’t the same as marijuana and I don’t know why it would affect alcohol. But it would the paper and cotton industries.

Please explain why that's a bad thing. Thanks.

Removing $28 Billion in revenue and 300,000 job losses in mostly red states and red districts is an idiotic thing to do given the current direction of public opinion in the real world.....

Telling you we want our freedom to use this drug is "emotional". Got it. The same retort most in the other forum use when someone calls em out.

You ask why but won't answer "why" yourself. Also got it. Lick the government boot, boy.

This will not solve the complaint of people smoking in public as these products are designed and sold as edible or drinkable products in most instances.

Exactly. This only includes over the counter products that have low dowses of THC like CBD gummies and drinks. It’s not shutting down dispensaries or anything like that. People on here acting like weed smoking in public is gonna magically disappear are fooling themselves.

The emotional twats are the ones who still think weed is a problem. They're still living in the 1950s
