The tech bros know this and that's why they are killing DEI because a merit based system will always be superior.

They have to compete globally against merit based systems.

Also, we appear to know the identity of every person involved in the crash except the helo pilot. Obviously, her identity is known, she's an Army officer, and she was piloting a Blackhawk that collided with a commercial jet, yet bc her parents request privacy that information will not be released? Hmmm ...

No mystery there.. her family im sure is quite aware that once her info is released they will be the target of all sorts of hate and vitriol from online losers ,while in the middle of trying to grieve and process her loss… unfortunately though im sure her identity will come out sooner than later .

Marxist "equity" DEI practices. Thank God for President Trump.

The average person is an idiot. The ones below him are real idiots. That’s upwards of 75% of population. They get degrees from colleges that shouldn’t even be open. Now they think they are educated. America lives on false premise anybody can be anything and it tries to make it work. We give participation trophies, don’t fail anyone in school, BS these kids their whole lives with how great they are and then they think they are something and owed something bc they have never been told the truth. We save their feelings at the expense of the truth. Now they have no reality, which dooms society. It’s all fluff. Dummying down of America.

For Trump, loyalty is the only qualification. He’s putting a lot of completely unqualified white people in charge of important things. The Trump pattern is to elevate white incompetence as long as they kiss his ring.

That is knowingly promoting incompetence.

That never happened. PG&E just had more money than the people or businesses that actually started the fire.

Check out the trucking industry - the rate that this country is importing poor Indian labor is astounding. And it's not like they're sending over competent people - they're emptying their ghettos and sending over knuckle draggers to be behind the wheel of semi's in our country. Guys that just don't have the common sense to walk to a bathroom and will just shite in the parking lots, bathe once every two weeks, throw trash EVERYWHERE, because they're used to that back in India.
Even a lot of the local drivers as well can barely drive. Manufacturers had to rush automated transmissions into the market because these dumbasses couldn't figure out a 10-speed manual.
Stay the hell away from semi's these days - and if you come up on stopped traffic make sure to watch your rearview mirrors to make sure the idiots coming up behind you are slowing down and aren't on their phones. There's been a whole lot of death and destruction because semi drivers are too busy watching buttcheeks on tiktok and not the road in front of them.

This has nothing to do with diversity. It has everything to do with companies and governments squeezing their employees and not wanting to pay more in the name of margins and budgets. You don’t pay, the talent leaves for someone who will. That leaves less qualified people at the helm.

I think that it’s a combination of both the greed squeeze and diversity hires.

100% of that is on the government of California. One of my best friends was the director of vegetation management for that project & were not allowed to carry out the work because of a tree frog breeding season.

now why dont you get back to whining about all these incidents occurring under your President, and then assigning blame elsewhere….. typical… btw we cant even see rock bottom yet, expect many more of these incidents under the 47th president, hope i am wrong but unfortunately i wont be .

Did you read the article? It was written in June 2023. Blame for the decreased maintenance of complex systems in our society cannot be laid at the feet of one president or another. This is a society-wide problem. I agree that we'll see more incidents like these in the future.

As Mr. Robertson says, "The U.S. has embraced a novel question: what happens when the men who built the complex systems our society relies on cease contributing and are replaced by people who were chosen for reasons other than competency? "
