Marketing genius

And they probably secretly hoped some dumbfrick group would raise some issue, thus further marketing the product.

“That history is of high alcohol content, cheap liquors that were sold and heavily promoted through rap music and all kinds of marketing and entertainment,” community member Christine Gilliam told Yahoo Lifestyle. “It is a big part of the demise of a community that already feels it’s under attack. So that, in turn, leads to alcoholism.”

“We know that children emulate adults and what they see to be cool,” Gilliam said. “So you have them going to the store, which just happens to be next to a liquor store where you might see people hanging out drinking 40s, so you want to emulate that and you can do it with a 40 water. Great, they’re getting nourished as far as the water. But their behavior is emulating that of these people that are consuming alcohol. And it’s like a precursor.”

A. Dudes hanging outside stores drinking actual 40 ounces

B. Stores selling 40 ounces bottles of of alcohol

C. Companies making 40 ounce bottles of alcohol

D. Rappers promoting the 40 ounce as something good

E. A company selling a 40 ounce bottle of healthy water

So which one do the "activist" go after?

a water bottle that has 40 ounces

This is reaching so hard their arm is coming out of socket.

I carry a half gallon water jug around with me because i don’t want to have to keep refilling water cups or bottles all day.

It’s a pretty brilliant marketing scheme and i would like the bottle because it won’t run out of water after 10 minutes

How the hell does water promote alcoholism? I mean, if you can't tell the difference between water and alcohol, perhaps sobriety isn't for you. And you should definitely be taken out of the gene pool.

Do they have any comprehension on how pathetic and weak this makes them look?

“We get the water, we get the count of the ounces, but we don’t like the packaging — it’s offensive,” Gilliam said.

What would they propose a bottle be shaped like? A gourd? Maybe a guitar?

They lack and understanding of simple physics. To hold 40 ounces of liquid in the volume, a cylinder either has to be wide or tall. That is why a 40 ounce bottle is shaped like that. Because it was shape me to be the diameter of a regular bottle it would have to be damn near 2 feet tall.

They are so fricking stupid. They just want money for being “offended”

Need to start telling these people to frick off
