You aren't the account holder so there is no way anyone at Comcast could take your email off of the account without potentially losing their job. Now you have created a huge mess and essentially locked the actual account holder out of the account, and at this point, they are gonna have to show up to a Comcast location with photo ID to fix everything you have fricked up.
The thing you should have done if you really wanted your email off the account is to simply call in and say your name was the account holders name, then proceed to ask them to change the email address on the Acct.

Seriously? I think they would know I'm not Lavona. And then I'm lying to Comcast. I haven't lied to them at all through this entire process. I've been more than upfront with them about everything.
The last 2 times I've called they've told me that my email address had been removed. Clearly it hasn't.

A call center representive cannot discrimate on who you are because of your voice. As long as you can provide the CPNI information(name, address, phone number, and either security code or answer to security question, which you have access to via your email and logging into the account), then you're cpni verified and they have to make the changes. They might ask who they are speaking with multiple times but as long as you say the correct name, nothing they can really do.
Or you can have your wife play as Lavonna.

I think OP is doing Comcast a favor. They obviously didn't see a problem with their system before, considering they ignored 5 attempts at fixing the problem. Now they will know their is a real problem that needs fixing.

No, I gained access using my email address that was given by this person who set the account up. The email address linked to the account. My email address. If you choose to believe I've done something wrong then so be it. I don't really care. I want my fricking email removed from Comcasts system immediately.

I get that you're frustrated about the situation but why not just set emails from comcast as spam and be done with it? Im all for getting revenge on someone but it seems like you are putting your efforts toward the wrong person, instead of comcast IF your email is as obscure as you say it is.
This reminds me of those people who catch their SO or spouse cheating and they are pissed at the other person instead of their SO or spouse.

It was escalated the last time I talked to them. The guy said it was taken off. It wasn't. I offered to verify by having him email the address on the account and I'll verify back by replying that it is my email. I've run out of options. This is my last hoorah. If it costs me $500 I'm prepared to do that.

I've done that. Somehow they work the email and it skates around my email/spam block. That's how I knew today that it was still on the account. Seriously I've tried everything short of calling the CEO.
