He is inarguably in the right here but it does seem that he's on board for continually refighting this. He could have refused on practical terms rather than principle. There's an argument to be made that the stand on principle is the nobler course but in most other contexts this board would call him an attention whore.

Yeah man for sure. He's the attention whore. He's the one that filed a suit over a fricking cake just because he's a known christian baker. What a fricking stupid arse thought process.

A suit he could have easily avoided. You're not good with complexities are you?

So by not lying(something he’s presumably not comfortable with as Christian) to avoid a lawsuit he’s the attention whore in this particular instance? Do I have that right?

When he wins this one they’ll request an abortion celebration cake next. Bet on it.

He is. Nobody, cis or trans, gets a cake with that specific message.

Liberals have probably organized a line of attention whores who will periodically go in at the end of each case. I wish there was a go fund me for this guy.

Is this "gay" wedding cake any different than a regular cake? If it is the same, they shouldn't be allowed to deny service.
It would be similar to not allowing Jews to be able to eat in your restaurant.

However, if they are requesting something that isn't a normally provided service, the baker shouldn't be required to do something abnormal to his business.
For example, if I had that same restaurant I mentioned above and I only serve meat products, I shouldn't be forced to sell fish on Fridays during Lent just for Catholics.

Sure they should.

I’d be fine with that.

So he should cave on his religious beliefs because he’s constantly antagonized?

Not quite the same, but I would be ok with that as well.

Apparently you haven't read much on what has been going on with this lawsuit.

his cakes are each customized so yes they are attempting to compel his speech. He offered them any “off the shelf” option in his store but instead they sued.

Denver attorney Autumn Scardina

Very obvious shim set him up looking for a pay day. To make the request of a man that was already in court over a queer wedding cake, on the same day that scotus announced that it would hear his case, is the most blatantly obvious troll ever. Shim should be forced to pay all of his court costs for both cases.

He doesn't do wedding cakes anymore. This is a custom cake with a message he finds offensive. It's the equivalent of refusing to make a cake with a rebel flag.

Exactly what they're doing. It's a harassment campaign.
