Although I agree with you to a certain extent... you can’t just pick and choose ...who you going to serve in the public based on worldviews ...

You absolutely can refuse service to anyone. It’s a private business.

Sans putting up a sign that says “no N-words allowed,” he’s well within his first amendment rights to say frick off.

It’s like me going into a 100% kosher restaurant demanding to be served bacon and then suing when I don’t get it.

Not the same scenario at all... it’s more like a Jewish kosher restaurant refusing to serve a Muslim...

If the Muslim was asking for pork, sure.

This freak is asking him to bake a cake celebrating their perversion that he doesn’t believe in. He isn’t denying service because it’s a tranny. He’s denying the specific service.

Yes it is. He has made it plainly clear he is willing to serve any of the generic cakes he serves (at least in the earlier case and i feel quite certain with all of the hoopla from that he has continued that policy) he just refuses to make a custom cake celebrating something which is against his religion. IE kosher restaurant serving bacon.

He didn't refuse the person. If the dude dressed like a woman had said the cake was for a gender reveal party or something like that, the baker would have made it. So, it's not like this at all, because the baker wasn't refusing to serve the customer based on the customer's mental illness or any other reason to do with the customer.

You didnt give a reason ... it’s obvious you can’t operate with a sign saying No N words...

My point is if you bake custom cakes for the public...do you really have a choose on what the customer wants customized... based on your faith

You need some reading comprehension, baw.

The whole point was that unless you’re discriminating against the person for who they are, you can deny service. That’s what the baker did.

It wasn’t “frick off tranny, we don’t serve your kind here.” It was “I don’t support this gender transition stuff so I don’t want to make a cake celebrating it.”

In other words, you can’t have a “no n words allowed” sign but you can refuse service to a black guy if he wants a cake you don’t want to make.

Why not? Are you violating the rights of the cake?

I left off the end of your post because it's irrelevant. An atheist painter should be able to refuse a commission of Jesus because of non-faith too.

Absolutely he should have a choice. His custom cakes are his art form. Should a black artist be compelled, under penalty of law, to paint a portrait of a KKK rally? Should a Muslim catering company be compelled, under penalty of law, to to BBQ a whole hog for a customer?
