He’s got his hand in a lot of pots with govt money. He owns a care company for mentally handicapped. He’s got a facility for DCFS kids which pays him millions annually. Plus his slums. His doing pretty ok financially.

Bought a failed ISPUD by us from Enquist. Looks like about what you would think. Two 3/4 finished houses and a bunch of overpriced lots.

Thdd we deal Temple made with the old Food Town across from BRGH was slick. He served on the board of that mental health group and wind up resigning so he could get his building renovated to rent back to the group.

I have also heard that he doesn't pay his bills and owes money all over town. That he regularly has suits brought against him for not paying contractors, credit cards, car notes, etc. "seems to always be in default" is what I was told by a local BR attorney.

If he wasn't the first black basketball player at LSU or whatever, it seems like he'd just be a deadbeat who games the system and takes advantage of people. This is good that the news station is going after him. And if he has no rebuttal, then he probably can't say they were wrong.
