Based on your struggles with punctuation, you should hate your English professors much more than the science.

So… what I love about this thread is that it turned into comments about great professors and not just sticking with the negative. Sure, I had some occasional crappy profs at LSU but for the most part, they were solid. Rick Moreland was a phenomenal English teacher and I respect the hell out of that guy. I don’t know if any of y’all took a class with Rick but that guy could teach. Dr. Sokolowski was awesome at micro. Mary Manheim in Anthropology was crazy as hell but a fantastic teacher. I’m totally brainfarting on the name of my neurology teacher who studied catfish but that guy was phenomenal. A buddy of mine worked under him. I worked with Dr. Woodring in the biology department and he was an excellent teacher but he tested for shite. He had these crappy true false tricked up tests but man I learned a lot from him. I also learned how to survive tricked up testing which came in handy medical school.
And you? You are a racist fricker. I can’t stand bullshite like this. Listen, it’s clear as day that you think all Black people are lazy, especially black females but I’m here to tell you, the world is full of shitty lazy people and they come in all colors, races, sizes, and sexes.

Her instruction was reminiscent of a petulant child flailing about on the floor; it appeared she truly believed her abhorrent behavior would force her students' capitulation.

I second the Coonass managerial accounting professor. Total b that gave 3 “random” 5 question quizzes that made up like 15% of your grade. I say random because she would just pick the days that the attendance was the worst. Her idea was to encourage incremental studying but, lady, I’m in a junior level accounting class the only way I could make it this far is to cram my arse of before the tests. Oh and the quizzes where hard as shite and came only from her lectures not from the book. She would also rant on and on about how we didn’t value our education because we didn’t prepare for her quizzes. One of the types who thought her’s was the only class you where taking that semester and wanted it to be treated as such. I looked at the accounting department directory but she’s “no longer listed” and I graduated last December. Glad she gone total POS. Thought her CPA was like winning a Nobel.

To call him a piece of shite, is to offend an actual piece of shite. This guy is a lying piece of human filth, all to advance his ideology.

You’re correct that is Chenier. Took her for BADM 7030. She’s a real witch, made the course material way more difficult for peeps that didn’t have a math or engineering background with very meaningless curves on the exams.

Are you talking about Vrooman? He taught me Econ 2030,which was a combo on 2010 & 2020. Anyway, he would compare supply & demand and other Econ analysis to buying beer for the game or drinking at The Chimes. Cool prof but I only managed a B (probably cuz I got a wrong copy of his final from my frat, heh)

The Jap TAs in math classes of 150 classmates where maybe 10 of us could understand a damn thing that they said. Frankly it's why I said frick it and did the workaround class to fulfill that requirement. I can't believe schools are getting tens of thousands for tuition now and still giving the young & dumb such a shitty "education".

I had a TA for a science lab. We would finish an hour early. I remember we were all having trouble with this one lab assignment. After class ended an hour early I asked for her help. She said she can’t cause she’s hungry and was leaving to grab lunch. I explained I have and paying for another hour of her time. She didn’t like that. But I was so fed up at that point because she was never helpful. She was the type that wanted to be there for research, but never to teach.

If this was Paul Britt, I disagree with you. He was an arse, but for the right reasons. He used to always bitch about Paul Mainieri in my classes. He also told us we were his last class because he wanted to enjoy retirement and not teach until he croaks.

I remember the names of the professors that I thought were good and knew their stuff and did not goof around, mostly my engineering profs.
I did have one lousy physics prof who would work problems on the chalkboard(yes in this tech age he would still use chalk). He would fill the board with problems and up until that time it was all fine.
Then he would only erase a circle like 1/3 over from the left edge of the board and then commence to work new problems until everything just ran together and no one could figure out what was what, even he got lost. I knew the chairman of the dept. and he helped me out.
Also had this organic chemistry prof who would not teach from the text, he who lecture about the newest thing in chemistry for each class and ignore the text. But he would test us on the mat'l in the text book, he was an arse.
I don't remember their names.
