No TV Revenue
No Gate Revenue
No Ad Revenue
etc...

Will there be major cuts since there may be no Fall sports?

Would only makes sense there would be.

That being said, probably not.

I’ve heard colleges are bathing in this student fee money like Scrooge McDuck.

Victory Fund
They want you to pay for the canceled season and I'm sure major ticket increases are on the horizon.
If they try to recoup this on the back of fans, I'm out!

There probably should be cuts. However, I'm most concerned about the smaller schools. The payout they get from the cream puff games against top flight programs is what funds their entire athletics programs. If there is any way the bigger programs should try to, at least partially, honor those payouts.

If not, there is no telling what is left standing a year from now.

this is going to be disastrous for athletic programs across the country as well as small college towns that count on revenue from 8 home games per year. The ripple effect is going to be monumentally bad

Smaller schools charge student fees to fund their programs but they will take a hit without those paydays from Power 5
Smaller sports will have to be cut is my guess and then when things get back to normal they can bring them back slowly but there whole model will likely have to change.

They still have private donations, licensing fees, and merch sales.

Title IX regs will make this problematic.

Have any refunds for season tickets and parking passes been issued?

Cuts?

Its 2020. Nothing is ever cut or audited at any level. Easier to pass the buck to taxpayers or tuition payers.

with no season and the economy hurting to some degree, will slow these

merch sales

without gameday, these take a major hit

the problem with some programs getting cut is Title IX

You worried about coaches? You should look up the Louisiana employees salaries statewide and see how much academia takes up. It's mind blowing. It may be time to shut down all Louisiana colleges and retool and start over. This should happen nationwide.

typically tied to priority list for season tickets.

I've heard from several who work in athletic departments that earlier in the year people were furloughed. I imagine it will increase if fall sports get postponed or cancelled.

O could pay for the entire athletic dept from his salary, so could Wade or Cal or Stoops.

we can go ahead and scrap Nikki Fargas to save some money. She provides no add value at all

In fact we can eliminate swimming and diving, and tennis for both genders. neither program has won shite as best i recall
