Too bad the sub didn't sink to avoid getting arrested.

Damn, Drug War such a success that back in the late 70's/early 80's it was like $2k/oz, Miami Vice TV days post disco era.
That DEA, slashing prices every day ... oh wait, that's WalMart's slogan not the DEA.
Then they said a ton of cocaine ( 2000 lbs ) was worth 569 million. They seem confused.

That's not the sub I'd sign up for. I'd want the one that dives deep.

And then the feds sold it and used it to fund black ops missions

For years I've wondered why drug dealers didn't use surplus military subs. There's an old movie where Frank Sinatra used one to rob an ocean liner.
For years they’ve been doing it. They first began appearing thirty years ago. They started showing up with frequency 15 years ago. Narco vessels. Whatever you have imagined should be used by smugglers has likely already be in place for a long time.

Got more bang for your buck back then. That 800/oz is maybe 40-50% pure at best. The 2k stuff was 80-95% pure. Better high, needed smaller amounts

Some family sir name was probably wiped out after that shipment failed to arrive.
At least their surname will live on.

I loved that video last year when it came out.

Yeah, Krieger wasn’t able to test it properly because the prototype was built in a swimming pool.

That was the decoy sub. While the water cops are spending all day on that one, the ten others further out go brrr. And back stuffed with cash.
