My mom lives nowhere near Baton Rouge and has no clue what this CoA stuff is all about. I just showed her the copy of the check without context and asked her what she thought and she instantly said that the check was altered. Further, she noticed that it was a check drawn on a city councilman's campaign fund and pretty quickly came to the conclusion that someone's gonna get got.

Is Delgado allowed to contribute from his campaign fund to a government agency?

COA technically isn't a government agency.

I don't see why not. Of course, I don't know shite about that stuff, so there's that.

Who at the PAC would give the COA an arse chewing? Wasn't Tasha and one of the COA board members the 2 people in charge of the PAC too?

Non profit contractor or something?

Maybe she should be giving herself one though I doubt Grimace is that flexible.

Either way he bought tickets to an event. For the purposes of campaigning. It's an allowable expense.
Hair and nail salon expenses are not like Ms. Banks did.

I think the PAC is associated with the big Dem campaign powerhouse that helped JBE get elected. Could possibly lead to an investigation of that org as well.

In 2002, State Judge Janice Clark paid a $5,000 fine for illegally using $32,000 from her campaign fund to "to enhance her personal appearance and wardrobe." Clark also repaid the $32,000 to her campaign account.
