If he had just simply cancelled the COA's charter when all this shite started, there would be no issues today for him and the short term PR hit for him would've largely faded away a couple weeks ago.
It's too late to do that now as it would just draw more attention from the feds and and get Jeff Landry to smell blood in the water.
