I don't remember them teaching that in school either. Up until now, I've always lined out the line with the amount of the check, but never thought to line out after the payee's name.

Tasha Clark has stated she is surprised to find out that altering checks is not legal. She will update the employee handbook to avoid this happening in the future.

The handbook was already updated.

The COA was allegedly handling all the financials for the PAC, so it had to have been someone at the COA.

She was in news last week. Went to court asking for restraining order against family of person she was named executor of will for. Judge said it was filed in wrong court system. Wafb FB page has story and comments from LSU law prof professor saying there didn't appear to be any need since No proof of action by family was proved by Tasha Clark.
