If they made lotto tickets half price for poor people they would just buy twice as many. Thereby demonstrating why they are poor in the first fricking place

I always have said there is a group of peoplewho bill bet you $2.00 on whether the next car to drive by will be a Ford or Chevy. For years, there was a (black) sulky race track in Clinton, that would have a hundred cars parked around every Saturday. I promise you most of those folks were betting on the horse races. I promise you, you could bet with fifty different people on the field of Clinton's Football game this weekend, and also the basketball game. Want to throw some dice or play poker? No real need to go to a casino. Just find a late night bar wit a back room. For years, the Jackson Kinghts of Columbus had a 30-40 slot machine game room in their basement. There are probably 50 different football bookies in Hinds County who will happily take your bet on whatever sport event you want to bet.
All of this drivel is to indicate folks have always been willing or anxious to gamble. Race and financial status have little to do with it.
Many Black, white, yellow, or red folks see the Lottery as nothing more than fun.
Why deny poor folks this pleasure?

I wish the federal government would start a lottery. They could sell $0.50 lottery tickets at post offices or in stamp machines, funding the PO. They could make winnings Tax Free, and set up more levels of pay off, all tax free. They could legalize pot, only from Governmental owned pot stores and sell tickets at them too.
I bet it would raise 20 billion dollars of extra tax dollars a month for the government to waste.
Of course, I would only play the federal Lottery if they did that. Tax free would have that kind of pull on me.

I’m pretty sure most bad decisions can be viewed as racist if all we look at is bad decisions and race.
If we want that to change, we all have to agree ghetto culture is the source of the problem. Let me know what I can do to help with that.

It’s not the job if the government to feed people. If you can’t or won’t feed your kids they should be taken from you. Your most basic job as a parent should be to feed your kids.
These people are already receiving food stamps, if they can’t be bothered to use it on their kids lunch and breakfast, then they should be put in jail.
