San Diego is trying to get back to normal but the state is trying to keep us from doing that.

Traffic and activity in BR seems a lot closer to normal lately.
It didn't take people long to get back into the groove of fricking up on the bridge or blocking intersections trying to make a turn at a light.

When all of this started I said that once we give these people power over us we'll be hard pressed to get it back. The mandates will only get more restrictive and ridiculous. I was told I was being silly.
Welcome to the New Normal.

Florida and Tennessee governors lifted all restrictions in the past few days....would imagine every Republican governor will be doing the same soon
does this mean they’ll allow tailgating and > 50% occupancy for football games?
They say all business restrictions, including capacity restrictions...but I imagine the schools will be the ones to make that decision - only issue is Memphis, Knoxville and Nashville have their own health departments which are setting local policies....Governor "encouraged" them to lift restrictions as well

From flattening the curve til now we are never going back?
What’s next?

This book should have taught us better, because that mouse is now asking to hang its drawing on the fridge. The mouse needs to frick off at this point.

Democrat strongholds like New Orleans will keep mask rules in place and restrict large gatherings as long as possible. Now that government has taken this power they won't give it up easily. It's like with taking off your shoes and being anally probed to get on a plane. People just accept it after a while.

I imagine that tune will change after losing the revenue from Mardi Gras tourism and conventions.

Correct.
Did you hear that hot mic moment with the Dem Gov of Pennsylvania and another Prog leader joking off camera how they only wear their masks for live interviews for "political theater"?
Truly disgusting.
They are rubbing our faces in shite now and laughing at us, while their voters clap like retarded seals.

I've long since been back to eating indoors and letting my kids play at the arcade and indoor trampoline park.
Get fricked, losers.

I agree, it’s some seriously dark shite. They relish in telling people that basically their lives will never be the same and they will never be as happy as before. It’s sick shite.

I take the same sick joy in being civilly disobedient and socializing with my friends and family and have done so since around the start of April. Got married in June with just south of 100 people present, all willing and all being as socially distant as they needed to be in order to feel comfortable.
attitude reflects leadership, and the leadership many people in our government and in the fields of medicine have given us in the face of COVID has been incompetent and just deplorable.

As much shite as people give Florida, but reopening the state, no state income tax and warm weather near beaches doesn't sound too bad.
Hurricanes suck but we have those here too.

The American people deserve this for being such stupid and obedient sheep to begin with. Our ancestors would have tarred and feathered politicians who tried to actively deprive us of a livelihood. Now we just sit on our fat asses and wait for a government check.

Why aren’t you all taking these articles and experts with a grain of salt? I’m not trying to sound dismissive, but so many people on here are up in arms when they see these articles. Do you all deep down believe that how we are living now is going to be here forever? I wonder what people were thinking in 1918-1920 with the flu pandemic. I know there was a depression in the latter part of the 20’s but things definitely went back to normal.

Between this guy, and the mayor of Phili (maybe it was the Penn Governor) that kept restaurants closed but went to Maryland to eat out, Nancy and Lori Lightfoot getting their hair done, Whitmer's husband trying to use her office to get a boat in the water, San Fancisco keeping their government gyms open, and DeBlasio keeping going to the gym while he shut everybody else down... you'd start to think that the government might like to play by their own rules.

I mean at least to a certain extent you have to take people at their word. These “experts” are saying things will NEVER be the same, and they are more than happy to say it. Do I believe they are correct? Not necessarily, but I do believe many will do everything they can to ensure getting back to the real normal is as painful as possible.

Is that slimy cocksucker JBE or one of his cronies in this thread downvoting every single post? Well, he/she/it didn't downvote the mouse. Likely didn't understand it, though.
