His actions? You mean bringing a clock to his engineering class?

if the teachers thought it was a bomb, did they think him just putting it in his backpack would stop it somehow?

serious question

The kid went mute and refused to cooperate with the teacher in the English class causing suspicion and general lack of respect. It carried on in the principal's office and with the police when they arrived.

Anybody with an ounce of intellectual honesty knows this was staged, acted out and prosecuted to gain a response from a liberal media wanting to frame Muslims as the victims in 9-11 not the culprits.

It took off and did exactly that and more.

He is getting free cake and laughing at everyone of you.

What is your point? You do know a battery can be plugged in within seconds right?

What's your point? What if he did have a battery?

The power source whether battery or plug is of no matter. What matters is that he powered it thus the beep.

The terrorist dad:

quote:

When Florida pastor Terry Jones finally made good on the threat he'd been toying with in the press for months, to burn a Quran in his church, it set off days of deadly protests in Afghanistan. And while U.S. military officials and lawmakers work to undo the damage he caused, and President Obama condemns the book-burning, Jones is seeking retribution. His church in Gainesville, Florida, denies responsibility for the riots.

There is a Dallas man involved in all of this: Sheik Mohamed Elhassan, who played defense attorney in Jones's mock trial and failed to sway the "court" at the Dove World Outreach Center. He's the man referred to in most news reports simply as "a Dallas imam." And he's not shying away from the controversy. As a matter of fact, he says, he is looking for a local church where he can mount an appeal.

Reached by phone this afternoon, Elhassan told Unfair Park that while he doesn't feel Jones gave him enough time to make his case, he's still "proud to be a defender of the Holy Quran."

Even after the violent response to the Quran burning in Jones's church, Elhassan says he doesn't feel responsible for the backlash. "I went there to make it not happen," he says.

He says he appreciates Jones giving him a forum to defend the Quran in terms of Sufism, a more mystical, new-age reading of the text. "I admire Terry Jones for doing that," he says.

"From my heart, I feel very OK. But I have some people who don't like that from my Muslim brothers. I see their faces, they don't want me to go and talk. But this is my opinion. I'm not living in Sudan, or Saudi Arabia. I'm living in a free land," Elhassan says.

Sounds like a real fricking whackjob!

Please. With the school, police, superiors, at the station, and the kid all tinkering with it, do you really think they were going to leave the battery in? By the way, the clock he allegedly took apart and reassembled- did it have a battery back up?

No. I am telling you to drastically reduce your monthly housing expenses and commute time by moving to the drastically undervalued minority neighborhoods in your city.

You keep saying he refused requests to put it away.

I said it once. I have exactly one post in this thread prior to this one.
quote:

No evidence of that. The only evidence was he took it out for a time in 6th period.

I stated it based on this posted in this thread:
quote:

NBA owner Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks told Maher he spoke with school employees in Irving, Texas, who said Mohamed got through six periods of school before there was any trouble.

One of the teachers, an English teacher apparently, said ‘Look, you’ve got to put it in your backpack because it’s going to make people nervous and it’s making me nervous,’” said Cuban. “And again, second hand, he wasn’t responsive [to instructions] at all.”

Ahmed, who has been invited to the White House by President Obama, said he plans to transfer to a new high school.

You may not think it's great evidence, but despite your claim it is "NO" evidence, you're incorrect.

Right because police never ever do that. Kid probably removed at school when showing cops.

Simple question. Do alarm clocks beep without power?

He was told to put it away, but didn't. Whether he plugged it in or installed a battery, he was tinkering with it after being told not to.

ars technia said this was a 1970s era radioshack clock.

so doubtful it had that technology which didn't come around until the 90s.

So there we have it. He did not just reassemble a clock and that's it.

YES. Do you not read?

There was a blogger... I think the blog was called Art Voice, who was able to locate the EXACT SAME MODEL AND MANUFACTURER of the clock. It was a clock built in the 70s or 80s, he found one for sale on eBay.

quote:

So I turned to eBay, searching for vintage alarm clocks. It only took a minute to locate Ahmed’s clock. See this eBay listing, up at the time of this writing. Amhed’s clock was invented, and built, by Micronta, a Radio Shack subsidary. Catalog number 63 765.

Here is a link to this blog: LINK

The manufacturer's logo is even on the circuit board.

This kid didn't invent this clock or engineer shite. He literally took the insides out of a clock and put it in a box.

It disgusts me that people like you are still running with the "he invented this clock" garbage.

[quote]Ever since the initial rush by the left to defend Ahmed Mohamed, the 14-year-old Muslim who built a suspicious looking clock in a briefcase, his story has been unraveling.

Prominent people have expressed skepticism at the teen’s claims that he didn’t intend for the clock to look like a bomb amid reports that he was uncooperative with police. A tweet that saw him rushing off to his lawyer for a lawsuit stirred suspicions even more.

Enter famed scientist Richard Dawkins — the evolutionary biologist and normally a hero of the left — who expressed anger at himself and others for being fooled into giving Mohamed “mistaken adulation” as gifts have begun arriving from Microsoft and others.

Unlike some others, Dawkins admitted he had been originally fooled by the incident. Evidence has since surfaced that the “homemade” clock wasn’t made by the teenager at all.

He's still full of it and fricked over his poor school district and classmates,. What a proud American he is.
