I hang out with proprietor Lance at Hayride , drink craft cocktails and discuss the folly of ideologically- driven economics.

Um, technically I think Splash involves a lot of the "low end"....

I went last week and joined in an ongoing conversation regarding the actual quality of life for pirates on the high seas.

It’s pretty sad that nobody mentioned the Jefferson.

Is Olive and Twist still open? I went there about 5 years ago and it was nice.

Hayride Scandal is my favorite.

Otherwise, Blend and River Room aren’t bad but they’re sometimes dead. The Watermark Hotel is pretty nice and gets people.

Mid City Beer Garden isn’t upscale but it’s very nicely done.

The bar at Mansurs is also nice, if it hasn’t been mentioned.

I accidently left the OM off my list. I love this place and usually try to stop in when I'm in town.
