The 250 GTO by a mile, that is the GOAT goat. Absolutely nothing else compares.

If I have to chose between those three, I am taking the GT40.

Not based on performance but based on my ability to work on it. None will be reliable, but the GT40 would be less costly in parts, etc.

GT40, Ford sunk almost a billion dollars(in today's money) for the sole purpose of beating Ferrari in a single race. The gt40 and the remake are beautiful cars, the 2017 version is a masterpiece and would be the first thing I bought if I came into money.

If that is the your primary criteria you may want to rethink it. The chassis was a one off so parts would be basically impossible to find. The transaxle was a Colotti IIRC and extremely rare. The various engines (save the 255 4 cam Indy engine) was based on "standard" Ford SB and FE engines but nothing was off the shelf then and certainly not now.

Changing oil and spark plugs/wires would be straightforward but I am not sure even the distributor cap/rotor/points would be easily available. It was still a pure race car after all. Of all three I bet the Miura would be the easiest to get parts, they were a road car and the 3.9l engine wasn't just in the Miura and there probably 25 times as many built as GT40s and 250 GTOs.

Those just aren’t my style. I still appreciate great cars. I just wouldn’t want one.

No Countach, no care.

There was an old episode of Top Gear where they brought some supercars to show kids.

They all loved the Countach over modern and better supercars.

POS of a car, but best design ever

quote:

Jason Dawe visits The Ridge Primary School to see which cars the kids of today want to drive. To find out if kids still love supercars like they’ve always done, Jason lines some supercars up outside – a Ferrari 360, Pagani Zonda, Nissan Skyline R34 GTR & a TVR Tuscan. A Lamborghini Countach is also brought in. After votes were counted, the Lamborghini was the most popular, followed by the Zonda and the Ferrari.

The Ferrari by far.

It's the only one that has style.
