GTO is a $50m+, holy grail car. A good Muira is about $3m. GT40 values vary a lot due to provenance. This isn’t a fair comparison.

I know the GTO is worth the most but based on looks alone I'd love to have the Miura SV in a garage to drool over.

I’ve seen a Miura only one time. Its one of the best looking cars. It’s shockingly low.

Well, for openers, that is not a GTO. The Ferrari pictured is a 1966 275 GTB/4, possibly a competitzione version due to the rear louvers.

Straight up, the GT40 is the best performer. If nothing else, the 1966 1-2-3 LeMans win proves this beyond doubt. The GT40 has more power, superior chassis dynamics, and is more reliable. It's conception was as a racing car.

The Ferrari, without question, is flat out gorgeous, and has the wonderful Colombo V-12. It is a magnificent GT car, and represents a high point in Ferrari style, power, presence and refinement. It is a car of kings and titans.

The Muira is a watershed car, in that it ushered in the era of the md-engine supercar, and V-12 at that. How they got it back there still astounds me. And it looks front engined, which is even more remarkable. It's a fabulous car, but not in the same league as the Ferrari as a GT, and not the raw performer of the GT40.

What we really have here are three different animals. The GT40 for the track, the 275 for Grand Touring, and the Muira for Sunday afternoons winding through the back roads and canyons.

In choosing which is best, it's a little bit like choosing between Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn.

As for the cars...all are at or near the zenith representing highly refined mechanics cloaked in beautiful art, and I'd be proud to have any in my garage.

The Ford and the Lambo aren't in the Ferrari's league.

I think this is a case where you don't want to meet your hero.

Plus, I would never be able to drive them on a public street, too afraid of the other drivers.

No Countach, no care.

There was an old episode of Top Gear where they brought some supercars to show kids.

They all loved the Countach over modern and better supercars.

POS of a car, but best design ever

POS is a bit harsh.

My father purchased a Countach in 1986, you can imagine my 9yr old reaction to the car when he brought it home. Over the years he owned several exotics and I would EASILY put this one as the one I would own if given the choice.

The car has the look and the sound is second to none at full wail. It's not comfortable for most Americans, but again the car was not designed for 6'3 235lb Americans.
