Honolulu, Atlanta, Norfolk.
Not surprising that 2/3 have massive military operations.

I lived in Los Angeles and it was terrible but San Jose has been worse the few times I have visited.

I'm thinking maybe Austin was the worst. My experience is limited, though.
I've heard LA is the worst but never attempted to drive out there at 5 pm. Rugged topography and the sheer amount of people make it impossible.

Bay Area traffic is horrible, anytime you have to cross a budge it funnels traffic like the damn hot gates in the 300

I live in Houston so I know its bad. Atlanta isn't as bad nor is Dallas but both suck.
Austin, however, really posses me off. The Scotty is too small to have that bad of traffic.
So my answer is Austin because it makes no sense for so few people to have such shitty traffic.

Houston has monumental traffic. But it's not as frustrating as BR, bc there's millions of people and there are many lanes and many highways. You can see Houston at least tries. BR is a small city with maddening traffic that will never get better.

If we are going global, I'll go rush hour in Bangkok.
Surreal experience.

the fact people mention BR is a fricking joke. Yes it is bad for a city its size but it is nothing compared to most of the other places mentioned. The bottle neck of the Mississippi I-10 (New) bridge causes most of the problems especially with a wreck.
Travel a little bit and gain some perspective. I know it's fun to trash BR.

Vegas should not even enter this conversation. Traffic outside the 4 mile stretch of S.Las Vegas Blvd between McCarron and downtown along with the portion of I15 that runs alongside it, is almost non existent.
I never get frustrated while driving here, but when I return to BR, the road rage surfaces immediately.

I worked north of Vegas and lived in Henderson for the summer of 2005. It was gridlock everyday on the ride home, and the people were a-hole drivers. I learned how to drive in L.A. and thought those drivers were nice compared to Vegas.
