BR proper (highland rd, Southdowns, Garden Dist. Old Goodwood, LSU), yes. That whole Sherwood Forrest, NBR, Shannondoah, O’Neal ln area is just as bad as the best Livingston Parish has to offer.

Mobile is not a mini version of NOLA, nor is Birmingham a “vibrant” city. Huntsville, on the other hand, has great potential and will probably end up being the best mid/large-sized city in the Gump state.

Lafayette has remnants of Cajun French in their streets and that’s about it. Percentage wise, Avoyelles Parish and Ville Platte are the hot spots for Cajun French being spoken. Now days Lafayette is only slightly more Cajun than Baton Rouge. I spend a ton of time in both cities. It’s dying out with time.
