Circle K coffee is horrible. Half the time, they don’t have the beans stocked in the chute. I support gas stations that stock Community Coffee in the mornings & Yuenglings in the evenings. Why don’t you?

Pack-a-Sak

When I was a kid growing up in Lake Charles, the Pak-a-sac on, I think, Ryan Street sold BBQ chicken sandwiches for 25 cents a piece or five for a dollar. Many a summer day, my mom would take us to get five sandwiches, couple of icees and some chips. Cost maybe $1.50.

Circle K is a run down chain usually selling shitty Valero gas

Just know that Circle K gets their gas from the nearest refinery whether that be Valero, Marathon, Exxon or Chevron. You aren't a plant baw or you'd know that.

I didn’t know that there were any 7-11s that were not already rebranded to circle K.
Still 10k of them in the US according to Google. 3k more than Circle K.

This whole thread is confusing. WTF is a 7-11 gas station? 7-11 is a convenience store that doesn’t have gas. I get that they own or are related to Speedway as 7-11 and Speedway have all of the same items.

If you buy an egg sandwich from a gas station you deserve whatever befalls you.

When did 7/11 pull put of Louisiana?

I can remember as a kid going to 7-11 just to get these on the bottom of a slurpee or whatever it was called. I didn't even drink the drink.

Yea, I never even saw one in a long time when I lived in Georgia. Moved to Florida and they are everywhere.

We have 7-11, Circle K and WaWa... A few Speedways and Racetracs

No Quick trips which was the bomb in Georgia

Late 80's maybe when the Southern Baptist got their panties in a wad over porn magazines visible from the counter by impressionable under age yutes. 7-11 left the SEC basically.

I love how Louisianans just absolutely shite on southern baptists for no reason.

Late 80's when Circle K bought all of them.

The Southland Corporation was the owner of 7-11 at the time. They also owned Citgo. The majority ownership was a small family who after a couple deaths of the patriarch and older brother took the company private buying back the stock.

When the economy changed in the late 80’s they bailed out and sold everything. Dad made several hundred thousand in the stock buybacks, 2nd largest in the disbursement behind only the CEO. (Every paycheck since day one he maxed out the company matching on investment). The remaining family from the Southland era were just not interested in management at all.

It was the Southland Corporation that made 7-11 big and famous, ever since the owners have lived off their work and operated on cruise control.

Better get struck down, Circle K is dogshit in my area. They just built a 7-11 up the road from me and it is hands down the best small gas station in my area.

This makes no sense. Why wouldn’t they be buying Circle K?

They are based in Dallas, so all the local 7-Elevens are really nice

They are about to open one by my house that has a full Taqueria in it Will have a huge walk-in beer and wine section

Lol, I have six 7-11s within four miles of my house. I have never seen one in Michigan as a gas station. The gas stations are probably all just labeled Speedway.
