I listened to a former CIA agent say that whatever new technology is out for public use has likely been in use by US intelligence for 10 years. They are way ahead of the curve as far as use of technology.

probably longer for a lot of it, pretty common, military tech as well, probably a bunch of new stuff will be generated by the re-vitalized space program

Had this as a kid. Was really interesting and taught kids basic electronics. Should be used in schools IMO.
I wore out the speaker in mine. Cranked that shite up!

we had one also. had those little springs that you slipped the wires into.
I can't remember anything we built. too long ago.

Didn't they have those in one of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games? They had a rifle sight that was a heartbeat detector. That was 3 or 4 motherboard meltdowns ago, I don't game anymore.
