Cardboard blocks?

Every 2 year old I've known would end up destroying the cardboard pretty quickly. Better off getting them Lego's. Kids can't break them and every parent should know the feeling of stepping on Lego blocks in the dark.

They arent as easy to destroy as one wuold think and Im sorry that you dont hang with more creative minded 2 year olds

I tell everyone to get something cheap, but shiny and fun looking at the toy store. He's only going to play with it for a few weeks anyway no matter how great it is.

My kid just doesn't play with something long enough to warrant getting something expensive. He played with his toys from his 3rd birthday for about a month, then it's on to something else. I mean he's got an awesome spiderman city that's 4' tall to play with, but would rather play with a flashlight and balloon. Now we have a huge toy with no place to put it (he's got about 20 of these types of things). I think my parents are getting him a few cheap toys and putting money in his savings.
