Thinking I’ll drop 10lbs by NYE. It’s shite, but manageable.

I was a teenager, actually maybe younger, the last time I got the flu. Never taken a flu shot.

I’ve had Covid since Monday or Tuesday.

I’m glad it’s not horrible like the first time I had it (or last time I had the flu) but sadly the appetite is here at least somewhat so 10lbs lost would be ambitious.

Sorry you're dealing with a cold.

In all seriousness, hope you clear up in time to spend time with the fam over Christmas.

The neighbor kid puked at our house last night. Bracing to see if we come down with something.

We actually spend Christmas Eve and Day alone at home without family so nothing has changed in that regard. I’ve just scaled down the skill level of my menu

Still quarantined in the guest bedroom. Feel fine but still have a fever

Day one fever as high as 104.7. But only other mild symptoms like coughs, chills followed by sweats.

About ten years ago, a friend of my daughter spent the night about three days before Christmas. The little girl wakes up in the morning feeling like shite, went home. Her mom calls a couple hours later to tell us her daughter has the flu. She said she thought the day before she may be getting sick. My wife went off. “Why in the frick would you let your daughter spend the night somewhere if you think she may have the flu?”

Flash forward three days later, my two young daughters wake and find something a little extra in their stockings. They both had the flu.
We spent Xmas morning at the only open walk In clinic (that was packed).

Great Christmas!!!

Oh yea sounds familiar. Held 100+ degrees for 12 hrs yesterday. Heart BPM has been over 105 for the past day. Sweats, chills, rinse, repeat.
