Chrissy Teigen gets Botox in her armpits to control sweating

Chrissy Teigen is no stranger to oversharing.
The model, 33, recently documented a session of Botox in a slightly unconventional place: her underarms.“BOTOXED MY ARMPITS” she captioned a video of Dr. Jason Diamond injecting her armpits. “TRULY BEST MOVE I HAVE EVER MADE.”
“No more soaking through silk!” she exclaimed on Twitter about the process, which is often used to prevent sweating. “Truly didn’t hurt at all! But I also do laser hair removal there so my pain tolerance might be quite high.”
According to Laura Altman, Physician Assistant at Tribeca MedSpa, Teigen probably sees Dr. Diamond a few times a year to keep her sweating at bay: “Hyperhydrosis can be treated temporarily by Botox injections; It requires about 100 units of Botox and lasts only about 3-4 months,” she told Page Six Style.
Teigen isn’t the only celeb who uses Botox in interesting places; “Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval revealed that he gets the stuff injected above his ears to prevent them from moving and to keep his hair in place.
