Another Chinese disease, this one came from Chinese people eating mice, and mice feces, and has caused a death.
quote:

Even as the world is gripped by the coronavirus outbreak and facing a disaster like never before in complete lockdown a Chinese man dying from the hantavirus has sent further shockwaves on the internet. The man was reportedly traveling by a bus in the Yunan province when he suddenly died and tests revealed the presence of the deadly hantavirus and efforts are on to test the other 32 co-passengers.
quote:

The symptoms of hantavirus are

Fever greater than 101?F, chills, body aches, headaches.
Nausea and vomiting and abdominal pain.
New rash (faint red spots)
A dry cough followed by rapid onset of breathing difficulty.

They have this in the states. It's not a new virus and I don't believe it spreads human to human. News is becoming worse everday. The rat feces spreads the bacteria. If you go into your crawl space or In your shed and a infected rat poops and you someone inhale the particles you can get this virus

Just saying, Hantavirus isn't new like this strain of Coronavirus.

Checking the CDC, there have been over 700 cases of it in the US from '93-'07.

Can't find it, but there are multiple news sources that are reporting it, and it is trending #1 on Twitter:
quote:

The Centre for Disease Control says that the virus is spread mainly from rodents. It goes on to say that infection with any of the hantavirus can cause hantavirus disease in people. "Hantaviruses in the Americas are known as “New World” hantaviruses and may cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). Other hantaviruses, known as “Old World” hantaviruses, are found mostly in Europe and Asia and may cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS)," the CDC website said.
