Pretty sure we had some baws in Louisiana die of this recently. If you go clean out an old shed, you need to wear a mask. Dont want to inhale mouse poop particles.

Dummy Americans die of this every year more than in China
Do America eat rats?
Do the Chinese keep records of deaths, and cause of death?
If they do, is it believable?

You don’t have to eat rats to get this. There have been cases of people getting it while camping and dying. This is because they’re sleeping close to the ground and inhaling old dried up droppings.
There’s outbreaks in Yosemite every now and then because of this.

frick, wish I had never read this. Guess I'm lucky, I used to blow out this old barn every spring with a leaf blower when I was a teenager

I understand that you do not have to eat the rats to get the virus, I am simply identifying the fundamental difference between American’s contracting the virus and the Chinese. That being that Chinese actually choose to eat them.

They unleash something else, we unleash fire.

Exactly. It's a big consideration for thru-hikers and the like who sleep in trail shelters I think.
It would take a weird set of circumstances for us to have a major hantavirus event
But it's 2020 so I'm sure we'll all be dead from it soon

I ran under a bridge yesterday along the Alan Parkway and realized I was under about a million bats that were now awake. Stunk pretty bad and not good knowing I could be shite on by 1 of those plague carrying frickers.
