It trends this way, because in the Chinese culture the son takes care of their retired parents. Having a daughter is not good for retirement. This is why they literally throw away little girls or send them to America for adoption. The one child rule made it much worse.

China also has a billion people. USA only has 325 million
To put it another way: China has 32 million MORE men than women.
The two largest states are California and Texas with 35 mil and 25 mil populations respectively.
In other words you could swap the entire population of the state of California with the excess of men IN China.

Considering some of the sjw liberals here the number of male to female in the us is probably close to that when you figure the average sjw would let someone plow their wife. Of course going in the other direction so more like 30 plus million more females for US males
