Sounds like a perfect opportunity to test out our Star Wars program providing it exists.

LSU Engineers get to work on the damage projections:

Mass
8,506 kg (18,753 lb)[4]

Length
10.4 m (34.1 ft)

Diameter
3.35 m (11.0 ft)

Using my stupid red neck common sense, I bank on 3 pieces big enough to worry with. Low ends under 100lbs and high end piece around 500.

Not even a decent impact crater. 500lbs at 180mph isn't THAT big of a deal

Maybe it'll hit Hillary as she's fainting.

Let's make a deal! We take care of that shite quick and simply in exchange for some of that debt.

Uhh, wasn't the plot that the station was losing orbit when she jumped into it?

Life imitating art.

Can I get insurance for this? I have the WORST luck when it comes to space debris landing on my house.

...because why waste it taking down a Space Station when there is a good Muslim family out there you can take down with it?

By the way, the track to the end of that scene is called " Shenzhou" and it is fantastic

You got nothing to worry about. This thing 100% will hit the Basin Bridge. On a Friday afternoon.

Unless I am mistaken, China only makes up about 1.8% of the Earth's total surface area. In other words, there is a 98.2% chance that this is going to land somewhere other than China.

They are playing the odds that this is not going to be their problem and thus have no fricks to give on the subject.
